Main Exercise

Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to show how you can define the basic that is required when recording the details of a risk assessment.

Define Hazard Types

  1. Open the Risk Assessment Basic Data/Hazard Types tab and create a new record.
  2. Enter a hazard type and description in the Hazard Type and Hazard Type Description fields.
  3. Save the information.

Define Hazards

  1. Open the Risk Assessment Basic Data/Hazards tab and create a new record.
  2. Enter a hazard ID in the relevant field.
  3. In the Hazard Type field, specify the type of hazard. Select hazard type you created in the previous procedure.
  4. Enter a description for the hazard in the Hazard Description field.
  5. Save the information.

Define Personnel Groups

  1. Open the Risk Assessment Basic Data/Personnel Groups tab and create a new record.
  2. Enter a value in the Personnel Group field and a description for the group in the Personnel Group Description field.
  3. Save the information.

Define Control Measures

  1. Open the Risk Assessment Basic Data/Risk Control Measures tab and create a new record.
  2. Enter a value in the Control Measure field.
  3. Save the information.
