Purpose: The purpose of these exercises is to show you how to enter information about a company's recruitment plan.

Appoint and Dismiss an Employee

  1. Open the Personnel Requisition window.
  2. Register a new personnel requisition for a HR Officer.
  3. Save the information and change the status to Confirmed and then to Approved.
  4. Open the Applicant window and enter an applicant. You only have to enter the first and last name.
  5. Save the information.
  6. Open the Job Candidates tab and register your applicant by using the List of Values.
  7. Select your candidate, right-click, and then click Appoint Candidate. The New Employee Wizard will open. Follow the steps and enter the required information. Your candidate should be employed at the beginning of the time period valid for your recruitment plan. Note the employee number.
  8. Open the Terminate Employment wizard. Select your newly appointed employee. Enter yesterday as the leaving date and select any cause.
