Functional Areas

  1. Open Functional Areas and populate the window.

  2. View the information. Functional areas are different fields where jobs are performed, e.g., Research and Development.

Job Grades

  1. Open Job Grades and populate the window

  2. View the information. The jobs are grouped and graded. This information is useful when you work with bonuses and salary revisions.

Educations and Experiences

  1. Open the Education Levels tab and populate it.

  2. View the information.

  3. Verify that the education levels are ranked with Elementary School as lowest (=1) and Doctorate Degree as highest (=5). 

  4. Change the ranking if needed by right-clicking.

  5. Open the Education Fields tab and populate it.

  6. View the information.

  7. Enter the education fields Social Science and Mechanical Engineering, starting with your initials, e.g., XX Social Science.

  8. Save the information.

  9. Open the Educational Institutions tab and populate it.

  10. View the information.

  11. Enter a university, starting with your initials, e.g., XX Stanford University.

  12. Save the information.

  13. Open the Licenses tab.

  14. Populate the tab window and view the information.

  15. Open the Industry Areas tab and populate it. 

  16. Enter the areas Chemical Industry and Pharmaceutical Industry, starting with your initials, e.g., XX Chemical Industry and XX Pharmaceutical Industry.

  17. Save the information.

Work Condition Factors

  1. Open Work Condition Factors and populate the window.

  2. Enter an optional work condition factor, starting with your initials, e.g., XX High working pace.

  3. Save the information.

Job Group Category

  1. Open Job Group Categories and populate the window.
  2. Enter Functional as the job group category, starting with your initials, e.g., XX Functional.
  3. Save the information.
  4. Open Groups and Categories/Categories and populate the window.
  5. Select your Functional as the job group category, and enter Finance and HR as the Job Group IDs.
  6. Save the information.
  7. Open Groups and Categories/Permissions and populate the window. View the information.
  8. Open Groups and Categories/Confidentiality Levels and populate the window.
  9. Verify that the levels are correctly ranked. Change the ranking if needed by right-clicking.
  10. Open Groups and Categories/Urgency Levels and populate the window.
  11. View the information. Change the ranking if needed by right-clicking. 

Characteristics

  1. Open Characteristics and populate the window.
  2. Enter Height for the Physical characteristic and Qualities of leadership for the Personality characteristic, starting with your initials, e.g., XX Height and XX Qualities of leadership.
  3. Save the information.
  4. Open the Qualitative Measurement tab and populate it. 
  5. View the information.
  6. Verify the ranking and change if necessary by right-clicking. Lowest level=1.
