This course will give you an understanding of the basic functionality within the Portal and Web interface. You will learn how to customize different settings and how these changes can simplify your daily work.

Basic Portal and Web Interface

This chapter presents four key lessons.

The first lesson, Navigation, guides you through the logon procedure. You will learn:

• How to logon to and navigate within the IFS Web Client.

The second lesson, IFS Personal Portal—An Overview, shows you:

• How the IFS Personal Portal is structured.
• How to orientate yourself within IFS Personal Portal.

The third lesson, Portal—Configuration, describes:

• How to customize the IFS Web Client.
• How to add, move, and update a portlet.

The last lesson, Using Web Client Pages, shows you how to:

• Populate, find, and edit data.
• Create a new record, delete a record, and duplicate an existing record.
