The naming convention of different depreciation methods differs among countries. The terms used in IFS Applications does not always correspond to the actual depreciation methods used in, e.g., the USA. The IFS Applications depreciation method Depreciation According to Plan is the same thing as what sometimes is called General Ledger Depreciation, or Book Depreciation. Depreciation According to Tax is sometimes referred to as Tax Depreciation, and Calculatory Depreciation can also be seen as Internal Ledger Depreciation.
