This course provides information and exercises on how to handle fixed assets within a company. This includes managing acquisition of fixed assets and importing objects, i.e., transferring fixed assets that have been depreciated in another system. Other subjects include managing disposal of fixed assets (i.e., sale and scrap with profit/loss calculation), moving objects (e.g., moving a fixed asset from one cost center to another in the same company), and splitting objects (i.e., transferring part of the transactions for an object to another object in the same company). You will also work with depreciation and with object operations on operative objects, i.e., additional investments, change in acquisition value, and change in net value.
