Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to create your own manufacturer record.

Entering a Manufacturer

1. Create a new tire manufacturer by entering XX100 in the Identity field with description General Tire. You have the option to include an Association Number. 
2. Save the record.
3. Select a default language in the General tab, using the List of Values.
4. Select the country for the manufacturer. 
5. Save the data.
6. Enter a corresponding address in the Address tab.
7. Save the data.
8. In the Comm. Method tab, enter at least one contact person in the Name field, and an appropriate description. Connect the name(s) to an address ID.
9. Save the record.
