Main Exercises

Purpose: The purpose of these exercises is to familiarize you with the basic data required for running the employee development process.

Competency Profile Specification

Standard Induction Programs

  1. Open Standard Induction Programs and populate the window.
  2. Enter a new record and register an induction activity, starting with your initials.
  3. Save the information.

Note: If you define the activity as mandatory, it will show by default when you register a new induction program in the Employee Induction Program window.

Competency Profile Specification

  1. Open Competency Profile Specification and populate the window.
  2. Create a new record, starting with your initials. Register an optional ID and name for your matching profile.
  3. Open the Competencies tab and register following competencies applying to a Human Resources Manager.

  1. Save the information.
  2. Open the Education tab and place the cursor in the Education Criteria Name field. Create a new record and enter the name Bachelor.
  3. Create a new record in the column below: Bachelor Degree – Human Resources.
  4. Save the information.
  5. Repeat the procedure for a Master's degree in the same educational area.
  6. Save the information.
  7. View the rest of the tabs.

Note: The Physical and Personality tabs are add-on functionality.
