Basic Data Setup
TAT (Turn Around Time)
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you how
to set up the TAT basic data required to perform the exercises below.

- Create a new identity and description for Turn Around Time.
General Exercise for BDR for

EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature)
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you how
to set up the EGT basic data required to perform the exercises below.
Windows:

- Create a new identity and description for EGT.
General Exercise for BDR for
Complex Assembly Service Contract.
Main Exercise
Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to define a
contract header with all global data entered.
Windows:
Complex Assembly Service Contract/General
- Create a new complex assembly service contract.
- Enter agreement ID ('CA1XX', XX being your initials), agreement
description and select a customer ID via List of Values.
- Save your changes.
Note: The system will automatically assign an
agreement ID if you do not manually define one.
- Enter information at the
General tab.
- Define from and to which date the contract should be valid.
- Check the date in Effective Date field that will be valid for what price
in price list to be used.
- Select a position part via List of Values. (This position part
should be included in a disassembly structure transferred from VIM or
directly from Manufacturing).
- Select a turn around time (TAT) from List of Values for how long time is
planned for the repair.
- Enter information about what type of penalty that is valid if the turn
around time is exceeded.
- Select an EGT from List of Values for how tests should be carried out.
- Enter information about what type of penalty that is valid if the EGT
criteria not is followed.
- Save your changes.
- Remember to set the status of the contract to Active before the contract
can be used.
