There are a number of predefined User IDs for the IFS/Vehicle Information Management (IFS/VIM) courses. This makes it easier for the teacher as he/she does not have to define users when starting a training course. Also note that these users have been set up properly with company, site, employee, etc.
User ID | Role | Student Number | Company | Site |
VIM | Main VIM user | - | 10 | 91 |
JATA | Teacher | - | 10 | 91 |
CHBE | Student | n=1 | 10 | 91 |
COHO | Student | n=2 | 10 | 91 |
FRFO | Student | n=3 | 10 | 91 |
GEPI | Student | n=4 | 10 | 91 |
JABR | Student | n=5 | 10 | 91 |
JOHA | Student | n=6 | 10 | 91 |

In the exercises you will see that most of the data are specified with prefix
"n", "X" or a combination of these.
Examples: nX747-900 (Part Number), X10000 (Serial Number) and nAC (Maintenance
Group).
The use of prefixes has several advantages:
Data Specification | Teacher | Student number "n" |
Vehicle Part No | X747-900 | nX747-900 |
Revision | * | * |
Top Part S/N | X10000 | nX20000 |
Structure Part S/N | X19999 | nX39999 |
Workshop | LAX-C LAX-L |
