Course Description for B2B Contracting for Work Orders

This course provides an understanding of how to use the Business-to-Business (B2B) Contracting functionality in IFS Applications. This functionality makes it possible for external contractors to tender on work orders prepared within an organization. This course makes it possible to outsource maintenance tasks, provides an easy to use web portal for the contractor to submit work order tenders and makes it possible to handle documents in a simple manner throughout the work order tender process creating a purchase order automatically, to be confirmed by the contractor. Reporting on the work order makes it possible to keep track of hours spent and work done on a work order released to a B2B contractor.

A contractor user must be defined in order to perform the work order tender flow from the B2B web interface.
