Main Exercise
Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to study the
content of import defined on the inbound integration package and validate it
against the schema and business objects in the IFS Asset Lifecycle Management
database.
Windows:
Inbound
Integration Package-Analyze
- Select an import job as the current job.

On the Inbound Integration
Package-Analyze window select Load Current Package to
load the integration package defined on the current job or you can analyze
another integration package by selecting Load Integration Package and
selecting an XML file from the
File dialog box.
- On the Analyze tab select the
Validate Against Schema, Business Object Instance Data Analyze
and the Additional Validation Against Related Business Objects
check boxes.
- On the Settings tab of this window, select or clear the
check boxes of the related business objects and those in the Show
group of fields to influence the analyze.
- On the Inbound Integration
Package-Analyze window click Start.
- Navigate back to
the Manage Job window for the Current Job by clicking on the
View Details link in the Current Job window. Now view the new
entry of this analyze action in the job by clicking on the
History
tab.
