Main Exercise

Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to configure the settings for communicating with IFS Talk.

Windows:
Group Subscription
User Subscription

Define User  Groups

1. Open the Group Subscription window and create a new record. 
2. Enter the user group ID and group name in the relevant fields.
3. Create a user group for e.g. site managers. Enter the group ID and group name in the relevant fields.
4. Create new records in the table of the window and connect persons to the user group.
5. Save the information.
6. Follow the steps to create another record for e.g. project members.

Subscribe to IFS Talk Users

1. Open the User Subscription window and create a new record.
2. Enter a person ID in the header.
3. Create a new record in the table and enter the others to whom the person should be subscribed.
4. Save the information.
