Course Description for Assemble and Test Project Delivery Product Basic

This course includes information on the following processes:

Prepare Assembly

Complete Project Product Structure Information

The course also includes an Initial Exercises chapter which gives the instructor an opportunity to show a basic flow of the course in the application through some exercises.

Course Length

The estimated time to complete the Basic course is one and a half hours.

Target Audience

This course is designed primarily for application consultants within Engineering and Manufacturing, or employees working in project-intensive industries such as offshore, shipyards, industrial heavy engineering, and contracting.

Prepare Assembly

This chapter covers the preparation of the assembly of the project product. This means that next-level project items are issued to the delivery project either directly from inventory or through a shop order connected to the top item.

Prerequisites

Before taking the lessons in this chapter, you should have a basic knowledge of how to work with IFS Applications. It would also be useful to have knowledge about the basic functionality in IFS/Shop Order.

The estimated time to complete this chapter is 40 minutes.

Target Audience

This chapter is designed primarily for project members with coordination from the production planner.

Complete Project Product Structure Information

This chapter covers the completion of the project structure information, such as issuing the top project item to the delivery project either directly from inventory or through a customer order line connected to the top project item. Then the the top item is realized, which automatically realizes the whole project product structure.

Prerequisites

Before taking the lessons in this chapter, you should have a basic knowledge of how to work with IFS Applications. It would also be useful to have knowledge about the basic functionality in IFS/Document Management and IFS/Customer Orders.
