Enter SRM Information

Explanation

This activity is used to enter SRM information for a supplier and can be carried out by a user who has access to SRM Info.

System Effects

General SRM information is added and can be viewed for a particular supplier. The information can be used as selection criteria in the Request for Quotation process.

Procedure

  1. Open the Supplier window and search for your supplier.
  2. Click the SRM Info tab and create a new record on the General tab.
  3. Enter segment.
  4. Enter the suppliers annual revenue and applicable currency.
  5. Enter one or more values for geographical presence.
  6. Enter the rating values; current and the previous.
  7. Enter dates for review, latest and next.
  8. Enter main representative.
  9. Additional information in free text form can be entered in the Notes field.
  10. Save your changes.
  11. Click the Representative tab.
  12. Create a new record.
  13. Select a value for the Representative ID field from the List of Values. The representative name will be automatically retrieved. Optionally, select a value for the Representative Role field.
    Note: You cannot remove the selected main representative from a record. Instead you can specify an alternative main representative.
  14. Save the record.
