Use this tab to enter and maintain information for a work instruction or to view the list of all the existing work instructions on a sub contract. Note: A work instruction can only be connected to an active contract revision, hence this value is defaulted in the Revision No field.
When the work instruction has been released, the work instruction report can be
printed and sent or handed over to the supplier. When it is printed, the Printed
check box will be selected automatically.
If the work instruction is replanned, the Printed
check box is cleared (if already selected) to indicate that the revised work
instruction has to be printed again and sent off.
A document text can also be entered as
additional information on the work instruction, which will also be shown on the
work instruction report. When this is entered, the Document Text check
box will be
selected automatically.
