Use this window to manually issue material for shop orders. You control how much is to be issued and from which inventory location. You do not need to issue material to begin manufacturing; you can issue automatically when you receive the completed parts into inventory. The shop order must have at least Released or Reserved status before you can issue material for it. You do not need to reserve the material before issuing. You can issue more parts than there are in the inventory location. You can also issue more parts than you reserved; to do so, you must issue the physically reserved parts first.
