Add Shipment Freight Charges Manually

Explanation

This activity is used to add freight charges to a shipment. It is also possible to add a fixed freight charge for the entire shipment.

If you have selected the Use Price Incl Tax check box on the Shipment/General tab, the charge price including tax/currency and the charge price including tax/base is editable, and the charge price/currency, charge price/base is non-editable.

Prerequisites

• The Use Freight Charges for Shipment check box must be selected in the Site/Sales and Procurement tab.
• A shipment must exist.

System Effects

Freight charges are added for the shipment.

Procedure

1. Open the Shipment window and search for the required shipment.
2. Click the Shipment Freight Charges tab.
3. If you want to add a fixed freight charge for the entire shipment, select the Apply Fixed Delivery Freight check box and enter the fixed amount in the Fixed Delivery Freight Amount field.
4. In the Charges tab, enter records for individual charge costs.
5. Save your changes.
