Enter Objects
Explanation
Use this activity to add objects and object structures that the service line is
applicable to.
Prerequisites
- Service contract should be created in the quotation.
- Equipment objects should be defined in IFS/Equipment Administration.
- Geographical objects and category objects should be defined in
IFS/Equipment Administration.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, objects will be defined to the service line.

Procedure
- Open the
Service Quotation window and
query for the required quotation (F3).
- Click Service contract tab, click
Services tab and select a
service line.
- Click the Objects sub tab and add
new record.
- Select the connection type of the object you wish to add to the service
line in the Connection Type field.
- Next enter the relevant object identity based on the connection type.
- Save the information (F12).
