Correct Structure Positions

Explanation

This activity is used to correct invalid structure positions for a serial structure. Invalid structure positions can occur when the part number and/or part revision of a serial that is used in a structure is renamed. For example, a part identity change on a modification can result in the rename of the template part for the serial. If the new template contains different structure positions, the serial structure will contain invalid structure positions. These invalid structure positions must be corrected before the serial structure can be set in operation and operational loggings entered against it.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, a serial structure with invalid structure positions must exist.
