Reset Planned Maintenance

Explanation

This activity is used to reset a scheduled maintenance event that was manually overruled. When the event is recalculated, the task calculation provides a due date and a due value according to the entry in the maintenance plan for the serial. At the same time, you can choose to reset to the scheduled maintenance for any child events belonging to the selected parent event.

Note: If an overhaul task (Overhaul + Cycle) is executed prior to executing the scheduled interval maintenance tasks, the system automatically performs a Reset Event for all the changed events having the Inspection, Overhaul (No Cycle) and Replacement calculation rules that are due prior the overhaul task (Overhaul + Cycle).

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, the due date or the due value of the interval maintenance must have been manually overruled. For more information, refer to the Change Planned Maintenance activity description.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the maintenance event and if selected, the child events are reset according to the entry in the maintenance plan.
