Copy Customer Agreement

Explanation

This activity is used to copy an existing customer agreement to another customer.

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites.

• A customer order header should be saved.
• If the copied to agreement should be in a different currency from the copied agreement, specify it in Currency Rates window.

System Effects

 This activity has the following system effects.

• The existing customer agreement will be copied to the new agreement and displayed in the Customer Agreement Window.
• The values in Deal Per Part, Valid for Sites and either Deal per Sales Group or Deal per Assortment tabs, will also be copied to the newly created agreement.

Procedure

1. Open the Customer Agreement window and query for the required customer agreement.
2. Right-click on the header and then click Copy Agreement and the Copy Customer Agreement dialog box will open.
3. In the Copy From group box, the agreement ID you selected will be the default agreement ID but if required it can be changed using the List of Values. If you have a date entered, you can copy the latest lines with valid-from date equal to or less than the specified date. However if you do not enter any value in the Valid From field, all available lines will be copied.
4. Specify the required valid-from date.
5. In the Copied To group box enter the required agreement ID, an appropriate description and a valid-from date. If you have a date entered, the lines you copy will get the specified valid-from date. If you do not specify the valid-from date, then the lines you copy will get the same valid-from date as the source line that you copy from.
6. The specified currency, by default, will be from the copying-from customer agreement. However it can be changed using the List of Values.
7. Specify the customer number the agreement should be valid for.
8. Select company from the List of Values. However, if the customer agreement being copied already has valid sites defined and the copying is done to the same company the sites will also be copied. If the copying is done to a different company when the valid sites have already been defined, the agreement will be copied without the valid sites.
9. If document text and notes should also be copied, you can select Copy Document Text and Copy Notes check boxes.
10. Click OK.
