Enter Reconciler for Customer Schedules
Explanation
Use this activity to enter a reconciler for use in customer
schedules. This is a must if using customer schedules.
A reconciler is a user who can perform the reconciliation process for all customer schedule
agreements connected to this reconciler. The role of the reconciler is to change the status of a
customer schedule schedule
from Entered to Reconciled. This job requires some analysis of the
agreement with the customer, recent deliveries, and schedule data.
Reconciliation takes into account actual deliveries made after the schedule was
first produced. A reconciler must be connected to at least one user.
Prerequisites
The user ID must be valid in system and must be connected to one or more
Oracle/login users.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
- The reconciler can be entered on a customer schedule agreement.
- The user can perform the reconciliation process for all customer schedule
agreements connected to the reconciler after the customer schedule has been
entered and before it has been approved. Typically, this is done after the
deliveries have been made.
- If you select the Blocked for Use check box, the reconciler will
not be available for further use and will not appear in the List of Values.
