Change Status on Sales Part Base Price

Explanation

This activity is used to change the status on records in the Sales Part Base Prices and Sales Part Rental Base Prices windows. The status is used to control how a base price should be used. There are three available statuses: Planned, Active and Closed.

Prerequisites

A record with a status different from the status you want to change to, must have been created in the Sales Part Base Prices or Sales Part Rental Base Prices window .

System Effects

The base price will be changed to the new status. Planned or Active statuses means that it is possible to maintain the base price. The Active status is the only status where the base price can be used to update customer agreements and sales price lists. The Closed status means that you cannot maintain the base price or update customer agreements and sales price lists.

Procedure

To plan a base price:

1. Open the Sales Part Base Prices or Sales Part Rental Base Prices window and query for the appropriate base price.
2. Right-click on the line and click Plan.

To activate a base price:

1. Open the Sales Part Base Prices or Sales Part Rental Base Prices window and query for the appropriate base price.
2. Right-click on the line and click Activate.

To close a base price:

1. Open the Sales Part Base Prices or Sales Part Rental Base Prices window and query for the appropriate base price.
2. Right-click on the line and click Close.
