Integration Setup for Primavera
Explanation
This activity is used to enter necessary data to be able to set up
integration configurations for the integration between IFS Applications and
Primavera Project Management module (Primavera). The configurations can be used
for exports and imports of data from IFS/Project to Primavera.
The data entered in the Integration
Setup/Integration Database Setup
tab is used to log into the Primavera database during the integration. The setup
for calendars and resources is optional and can be done according to the
requirement for calendars and resources that are to be included in the
integration.
Calendars can only be exported through the integration and the
Integration Setup/Integration Calendar Setup
tab is used to define the IFS/Project calendars and its schedules. Resources can
be both exported and imported through the integration. The data in the
Integration Setup/Integration Resource
Setup tab is used to setup the mandatory data (cost element and calendar) to be
able to import resources to IFS/Project.
Prerequisites
- The Primavera Project Management module should be installed.
System Effects
- The integration configuration record can be used for both basic data
