Connect Document to Project

Explanation

Documents registered in IFS Document Management can be connected to projects.

Prerequisites

• The project must exist.
• IFS Document Management must be installed.

System Effects

• The project has one or more document connections.
• The document can be accessed from the project by using the Attachments.
• The project is accessible from the document.

Procedure

1. Select the project.
2. Click the Attachments.
3. The Attachments pane appears. In the Documents, use Attach to insert an existing document, or use New to create a new document. For more details on this, see Document Object Connections.
