View Landed Cost Details

Explanation

Use this activity to get an overview of the calculation behind the landed cost. The landed cost is calculated by considering the part price, line connected charges, charges where the Distribute Charge By option is selected, and discounts. Details of how each charge contributes to the landed cost and the level of the charge are also shown. The landed cost is calculated independent of the costing method of the part.

Prerequisites

• The purchase charge type should be entered for the site.
• The charge group for each level must be defined.

System Effects

The discounts and charges, along with their levels, are displayed for the purchase order part line.

Procedure

1. Open the Purchase Order window.
2. Query for the desired purchase order number and then click the Landed Cost tab.
3. Selected the required purchase part line, right-click and then click Landed Cost Details. The Landed Cost Details dialog box will open.
