Reschedule Purchase Order Line Using Drag-and-Drop

Explanation

This activity is used to reschedule a purchase order line using drag-and-drop functionality from a visualization chart.

Prerequisites

• The purchase order line supply should not be pegged to a demand.
• The purchase order line should not be project connected.
• The new Planned Receipt Date must be a working day.

System Effects

• The purchase order line will receive a new Planned Receipt Date according to the value provided in the dialog box.

Procedure

1. Open a visualizer enabled window and query for the site needed.
2. If the Data View is displayed, click Visualization View on the title bar.
3. Right-click and select Select Visualization. The Select Visualization dialog box will be opened.
4. Double-click Inventory Part Availability Planning.
5. Select the segment representing the purchase requisition line supply you want to reschedule to a new date.
6. Click and hold the left mouse button while moving the cursor. Release at the date to which you want the order line to be rescheduled. The Reschedule Purchase Order Line dialog box will be opened.
7. The date where released is defaulted as the new Planned Receipt Date, but can be optionally edited.
8. Click OK.
