Alter Milestone/Stage Payment Line

Explanation

The progress' begin date, lead time, expected approval date, stage amount, last stage payment line, etc. may change for a milestone/stage payment. If this is the case, it is possible to update the milestone/stage payment line. It is also possible to remove a milestone/stage payment.

Prerequisites

• A milestone/stage payment must have been entered and saved for a purchase order line.
• The milestone/stage payment line must be in state Released.

System Effects

A milestone/stage payment will be either updated or removed.

Procedure

Update a milestone/stage payment line:

1. Open the Purchase Order window and query for the appropriate order.
2. On the Purchase Order/Part Order Lines tab, right-click on the relevant order line, point to Order Line Details and then click Milestone/Stage Payment; or on the Purchase Order/No Part Order Lines tab, right-click on the relevant order line, and then click Milestone/Stage Payment.

Note: This activity can also be done in the Purchase Order Lines and Milestone/Stage Payment for Purchase Order Lines windows.

3. On the dialog box that appears, change the progress, begin date, lead time, expected approval date, stage amount, last stage payment line, etc. for a milestone/stage payment line. If the begin date is changed, the expected completion date is recalculated according to the lead time. If the lead time is changed, the expected completion date is recalculated according to the new lead time.
4. Save the updated milestone/stage payment line.

Remove a milestone/stage payment line:

1. Open the Purchase Order window and query for the appropriate order.
2. On the Purchase Order/Part Order Lines tab, right-click on the relevant order line, point to Order Line Details and then click Milestone/Stage Payment. On the Purchase Order/No Part Order Lines tab, right-click on the relevant order line, and then click Milestone/Stage Payment.

Note: This activity can also be done in the Purchase Order Lines and Milestone/Stage Payment for Purchase Order Lines windows.

3. Select the line(s) that need to be removed.
4. Click Remove  on the tool bar.
5. Save the modified line(s) and the milestone/stage payment line(s) will be removed.
