Reschedule Early/Late Orders According to the MRP Due Date

Explanation

This activity is used to reschedule shop orders or purchase orders that are due earlier or later than the demand date.

Prerequisites

This activity requires the possibility to populate the MRP Action Proposals window or the MRP Action Proposals Workbench window or the MRP Part information /Action proposals tab in order to select one or more records with a late or early order message.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, IFS Applications will reschedule early or late shop orders and purchase orders to relevant dates which are as close as possible to the demand date.

Follow-up is not available for the following messages:

• Late Order
• Early Order

Procedure

1. Open the MRP Action Proposals window or the MRP Action Proposals Workbench window or the MRP Part information /Action Proposals tab.
2. Query for the information required.
3. Select one or more records with an early order or late order message.
4. Right-click and then click either Reschedule Early Order According to MRP Due Date or Reschedule Late Order According to MRP Due Date as appropriate.
