Use this activity to release the selected requisition and all other requisitions with the same balance ID. This means that all balance IDs related to either child or parent are released.
Note: If multiple levels are released, there is no assurance that all levels have been planned.
The APB or CBS clients group the shop orders created after releasing the balance ids' under one balance id object inside CBS and APB itself. This helps the planner to schedule shop orders belong to one balance id, as a group of shop orders.
Shop orders under one balance id do maintain their preceding and succeeding relationships based on the header requisition number that are there in each requisitions. Therefore the shop orders under one balance id is scheduled together and taken the desired relationship on the schedule.
The shop order requisition must have been balanced using the Balance Requisition function.
As a result of this activity, the system release requisitions with the same balance ID, regardless of requisition number. All shop order requisitions released simultaneously receive the same shop order number but different release numbers. After requisitions are released into shop orders, they disappear from Batch Balancing, since they have become shop orders.
