Procedure

  1. Open the MRP Action Proposals, MRP Action Proposals Workbench, MRP Part Information, Project Misc Procurements, Project Navigator or Customer Order window.

Note: The Project Misc Procurements window can be accessed by clicking on the Gross Requirements tab in the MRP Part Information/Gross Requirements window, right-clicking on a line with Project Misc Demand in the MRP Source field and clicking Supply/Demand Details.

  1. Query for the record.
  2. If using the MRP Part Information window, click the Action Proposals tab. If using the Project Navigator window, click the Demand tab and then click the Misc tab. If using the Customer Order window, click the Order Lines tab.
  3. Select a row, right-click and then select Perform Project MRP for Part. If using the Customer Order window, right-click and click Perform MRP for Part.
  4. The Perform Project MRP for Part dialog box will be opened with part number(s) and site already selected.
  5. Select the date on which you want the selective project MRP to be executed. The site date is used by default.
  6. If you want to stop the project MRP process when an error occurs, you can select the Stop PMRP on Error check box.
  7. To add one day lead-time back-off to planned receipts, select the Add 1 Day Lead Time check box.
  8. If you want to create messages for phantom part dependant demands, select Phantom Part Dependent Demand Message check box.
  9. To start the MRP process immediately after project MRP is completed, click the Start MRP Once PMRP is Completed check box.
  10. If you want the MRP process to create safety stock replenishment orders on the MRP run date, select the Plan Safety Stock Receipt on MRP Run Date check box. If it is not selected, safety stock replenishment orders will be created on the event date itself.
  11. If the Run Integrated with CRP check box is selected, CRP backward scheduling logic will be used to schedule shop order requisitions generated from the process. As a result, the start date of the requisitions/receipts generated will be more accurate.

Note: If the corresponding inventory part is a master schedule planned part, then project MRP will not plan the part and components. First, run master scheduling and then right-click and select Run Project MRP for Components in the MS Level 1 for Part window.
