Acknowledge DOP Alarm

Explanation

Use this function to acknowledge a DOP alarm. This is done mainly for visibility purposes; it is not absolutely necessary.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that a DOP alarm has been generated. The DOP alarm type cannot be of the type configuration. Configuration alarms cannot be acknowledged and can only be solved.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the status of the alarm is changed from the default value Not Acknowledged to Acknowledged. In the field User Confirm, the name of the user under which you are logged in is displayed.

Procedure

1. In DOP Header/Alarms, DOP Order/Alarms, DOP Order/Component Alarms, or DOP Order Alarms, specify/query the DOP ID for which you want to change the alarm status.
2. Highlight the record, right-click and then click Acknowledge.
3. Click Yes in the Dialog Box that is displayed.
