Report Configuration/Parameter Mappings
Usage
Use this tab to define the mapping between a parameter in a report and the
technical attributes in the database. You can also use this tab to map a page
break item to the system-defined page break parameter. The configurations on
this tab allow you to:
- Use the same report for
several standards by mapping the Report Parameter field in the report to a
standard, a class and a specific technical attribute for that class.
- Use the same report for many different
types of equipment objects by mapping the report parameter to the
class/technical attribute. For example: Instrument Equipment and Process &
Mechanical Equipment can be made to be displayed on the same report because
they share a common technical attribute such as Maximum Temperature.
- Specify a maximum of two items for each
page break parameter using the semicolon separator (;)
between the items.
- Specify many page break parameters on the same report
if a different standard is employed each time.
