Use this window to define default cost elements for reporting material, work and miscellaneous costs and hours, for a selected company. In order to do this, the user should have access to the mapping company. Once default cost elements are mapped to the cost and hours fields for a particular company, the names of the defined cost elements will be displayed as the names for the cost fields on the Project Connection window. For example, if the cost element Materials is defined as the Cost Element for Material Cost field, the cost field for entering materials on the Project Connection window will be named Materials, and will become editable if the object has been connected to a active project activity.
