Assembly Types

[About Prefabrication and Assembly] [About Additional Parts] [About Work Order] [To Asset Design] [To Asset Work Preparation]

Usage

Use this window to create assembly types to be used to describe how assembly parts, also known as material in this context, will be assembled using the work order. Fitting, Erecting, Aligning, and Inspecting are a few of the common industrial assembly types. An assembly type can be defined both on an additional part for a design object and an assembly part of as assembly structure. When a work order is created for the design object, both additional parts and assembly parts that match the assembly type requested by the work order will be included as the material demands for the work order. Once a assembly type is no longer used, it is possible to set it as Obsolete on this tab. Select the Obsolete check box to ensure that the particular assembly type cannot be entered on new additional parts.
