Service Contract/Services
Usage
Use this tab to define service lines (i.e., work types
the customer is entitled to) for the objects covered by the service contract. The tab is divided into 2 sections.
On the
left you have a tree navigator where you can view the content of the service
contract in a graphical format. It consists of the following nodes:
-
Service Contract - The service contract, serves
as the root node. Displays the identity of the service contract and the name.
- Service Line - The service line that is defined under the service
contract for different work types.
Entries are shown by line number and work type. Note: If a service
line is defined as a child line of another service line, the parent line's
line number is displayed within parenthesis.
- Periodic Invoice Date - The periodic invoice
date per service line. One service line can have many periodic invoice
dates.
- Periodic Price - The periodic price per service
line. The periodic price per service line may change over time.
On the right of the tab you have the detailed view per
service line where you can enter information related to:
- The service level agreement applicable to the
service line. This can be different to the service level agreement included in the
service contract.
- Benefit Plan - determine if there are any benefits that is limited to a
number of initial work orders to be executed under the service line.
- Invoicing options - determine how the service line
should be invoiced. For more information refer to the online help document:
Service Contract.
- Validity period of the service line.
