Define Revision Control on Site

Explanation

Use this activity to define revision control on site.

PM Actions, standard jobs and job programs could be locked from editing. The criteria for when they are locked from editing differs between PM Actions, standard jobs and job programs. But generally it happens when they are in use i.e. connected to a PM action, work order or status is active. Two options exist when these restrictions exist and both enables any changes:

Disable/enable revision control could initially be set on a Site. All new records will then inherit this setting, e.g. default disabled, if the site is configured to have revision control disabled. To change the revision control status on existing PM actions, standard jobs and job programs of a selected site right-mouse option on Site window  Update Revision Control on Existing can be used.  The inherited revision control setting from the site could also be individually changed per PM action, standard job and job program, with a right-mouse option.
