Connect Isolation ID

Explanation

Use this activity to connect an isolation to a permit linked to a PM Action. You can only connect isolations to a permit of isolation permit type.

Prerequisites

Before the information is entered, the following must have been completed:

• The isolation must have been created in IFS/Equipment.
• The current PM Action must have been retrieved in the Permits tab.
• A permit of isolation type must have been entered in the window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, an isolation is connected to a permit on a PM Action. All future work orders generated from this PM Action will inherit the isolation required during the performance of  the work.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter the information:

1. In the Isolation ID field, use the List of Values to select a suitable isolation. 
2. Save the information.
