Activate Job Program

Explanation

Use this activity to activate a job program or a job program revision. A job program is usually activated once you have completed entering all the relevant information, such as connecting standard jobs. 

Prerequisites

A job program in the Preliminary status should exist in the system. 

System Effects

• The job program will be activated.
• The previously active revision (if one exists) will be set to Obsolete. 
• The job program can be applied to similar equipment or linear asset objects to generate a preventive maintenance plan.

Procedure

1. Open the Job Program window, and query for the job program you want to activate.
2. Right-click, point to Job Program Status and click Active. The status is displayed in the Status field.
