Some object information, i.e., test points are used for updating measurements. Enter different test points on objects, considered particularly interesting for carrying out measurements. These test points do not necessarily need to be visible parts of an object, e.g., bearings for a pump, or a weld on a tank. Preventive maintenance actions can be generated according to certain conditions for an equipment or linear asset object. In order to control preventive maintenance actions in this way, define appropriate test points for measurements of parameters on the object. Then, when updating measurements, enter the results on those previously defined test points and parameters.
