Laws and Regulations

Because of certain environmental safety, tax, or other reasons, there can be external demands on the maintenance of the facility. Such demands can be determined by various laws and regulations imposed by authorities, e.g., governments, municipalities, and other local or global legislative bodies. Those laws and regulations must be taken into consideration while planning future maintenance operations. For example, maintenance is to be performed more often than it would have been otherwise, or is based on certain specified events.
