Demands on Equipment Performance

In order to achieve more efficient use of the industrial facility as a whole, or the individual pieces of equipment separately, there can be some external demands on equipment performance that affect the maintenance operation. Based on available historical data, production analyses or other reasons, various demands from, for instance, the management, can be put on equipment performance. Such demands should be taken into consideration while planning future maintenance operations. For example, maintenance is to be performed more often than it would have been otherwise, or is based on certain specified events.
