Procedure

  1. Open the Production Unit window for the production unit you want.
  2. Click Report Log Message (found in the Actions area) to open the Log Event window. If you already have this window open, click Create New on the toolbar to create a new log event.
Note: You can also open the Log Event window by selecting the right mouse button option View Event for an existing log event record in the Production Unit window.
  3. In the Log Event Type list, select the required log event type (connected to the system log event type you want).
  4. Enter the object for which the log event is to be created in the Object ID field. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
  5. The fields in the Log Bulletin Duration area will only be available for editing when the selected log event type is connected to the system log event type Log Bulletin. If it is to be a log bulletin, enter the time period (in the From and To fields) for which the log bulletin is to be displayed in the Production Unit window.
