Position History Overview

Explanation

This activity is used to view parent position history of a position selected in the graphical object structure.

Prerequisites

A graphical position structure has to be defined in the system.

Procedure

1. Open the Graphical Position Structure Window.
2. Search or populate to find the relevant position structure.
3. Select the position you want to view from the graphical object structure.
4. Navigate to the Position History tab and inspect the data.

• In the Parent Position ID column, you can see all the positions that were direct supervisors of the currently selected position. The current parent position is listed as well.
• In the Parent Position Name column, names of all of the supervising positions are listed.
• In the Valid From and Valid To columns, you can see the time during which every position held.
