Fetch New Operational Parameters

Explanation

This activity is used to update the operational parameters for a serial on a flight.

If the maintenance group for a vehicle (i.e., the vehicle for which the flight log was reported) or a serial in its structure is changed, one or more operational parameters already listed on the flight for the serial can become invalid. Using the functionality described in this activity, you can manually update the list of operational parameters on the flight. Note: The list of operational parameters will be updated automatically when a new operational parameter is added to the maintenance group of a serial already present in the operational parameter list. For all other instances, this activity must be performed to update the operational parameters for the serial on the flight.

To perform this activity the serial must be connected to an open flight log, and the operational parameters for the new maintenance group must differ from the parameters for the old maintenance group. If the same operational parameter exists both on the new and old maintenance group, the existing operational parameter entry will not be changed.
