Define Operational Cancellation Causes

Explanation

This activity is used to enter valid operational cancellation causes. If a flight in the flight log is cancelled, it must be indicated by entering one of the predefined cancellation causes on the flight.

As a result of this activity, valid operational cancellation causes are defined and can be registered on flights in a flight log.

Procedure

1. Open the Flight Log Basic Data window and then click the Operational Cancellation Cause tab.
2. Create a new record (F5).
3. In the Operational Cancellation Cause field, enter an ID of the cancellation cause.
4. In the Operational Cancellation Description field, enter a description of the cancellation cause.
5. Save the information (F12).
