Configure Corrective And Preventive Action Object Connections

Explanation

This activity is used to allow Corrective And Preventive Actions (CAPA) to be connected to any kind of business object, for instance a purchase order, work order or shop order. When a business object is made CAPA aware, a corrective and preventive action option will be available in the attachment panel of the particular business object in order to be able to create new and view created corrective and preventive actions connected to the business object.

Prerequisites

Only a system administrator can access and configure the corrective and preventive action object connections in the Object Connections window.

As a result of this activity, a business object is made CAPA aware.

Procedure

1. Populate the Object Connections window and search for the required LU name. If the LU name for the object that you want to connect is not displayed on the list, add a new connection line.
2. Select the required LU name and add CapaObjectConnection^ in the Service List column.
3. Save when complete.
