Apply Cost Type Pricing Definition

Explanation

Use this activity to view sales lines priced according to the cost type definition. Sales lines are basically categorized according to position, cost type and maintenance level.

Prerequisites

• The Complex Assembly Service Contract must be created and applied on the Complex Assembly Work Order.
• The cost type must be defined in the Basic Data for Contract Management window.
• The transactions must be generated on shop orders.
• The Cost Types tab on the Complex Assembly Service Contract window must contain pricing definitions.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the sales lines will be priced with 3 alternatives defined in the agreement: Cost + Fee (also called markup), Price List, Zero (for Customer Owned material).

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter the information:

1. Open the Complex Assembly Work Order window  
2. Click on the Sales Lines tab and expand the product structure.  
3. View the information:

• Check that the price is fetched according to the cost type definition.
