Verify Template Transfer Log

Explanation

This activity is used to view log records. Errors, warnings, and informational messages are created when you transfer from the VIM Serial Structure Template holding table to a manufacturing site. From the log, you can use the right mouse button to go directly to the proper form to resolve issues as needed.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that the Template Transfer process has been executed.

System Effects

• You can go directly from a messages to the source of the problem.
• If problems of the Error type at the source are fixed, you may initiate another template transfer process.

Procedure

1. Open the Template Transfer Log window.
2. Retrieve the top template part number records, either by clicking Populate (F2) or by making a selective query (F3).
3. If logs exist, they are displayed in the table.
4. Right-click on the log record, then click the appropriate window to go directly to the source of the problem.
5. Fix the problems in source windows as needed.
